Puca Pucara

Puca Pucara was a military and administrative center that also served the Incas for recreation and lodging. Mighty walls and buildings, watchtowers, courtyards, terraces, stairs, paths and water channels in the style of inca military architecture. The name Puca Pucara means «Red Fortress» because the stones shimmer in red at dusk.
