El Brujo

The Archaeological Complex «El Brujo» is a ceremonial center that reflects 5000 years of human presence and bears witness to the Cupisnique, Moche, Lambayeque, Chimú and Inca cultures. It mainly consists of «Huaca Prieta», «Huaca Cao Viejo» and «Huaca Cortada» or «Huaca El Brujo». The tomb and momified body of the Empress «Señora de Cao» were discovered here.
