Bird watching at Reserva Amazonica

Bird watching in
«Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica». Full-day excursions accompanied by a
knowledgeable guide. Selection of routes according to individual
interests, depending on terrain and water level on foot and/or by boat.
Day 1: Arrival in the jungle
• Airport pickup in Puerto Maldonado.
• Boat trip on the «Madre de Dios» river to the chosen accommodation.
• Having lunch.
• Guided excursion in the area.
• Cocktail, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Reserva Amazonica
• Watching the sun rise over the Madre de Dios river.
• Breakfast.
• Depending on personal preferences and weather conditions, the excursions can be adjusted. Birdwatching at various points, in coordination with the specialized guide.
• Night walk in the area.

Dinner.
• Overnight stay.
Day 3: Reserva Amazonica
• Watching the sun rise over the Madre de Dios river.
• Breakfast.
• Excursion to Lake Sandoval with bird watching.
• Lunch.
• Excursion to the canopy walkway in the tops of the trees to observe birds and the surroundings from a «bird's eye view» and to the «Aguajales», a flooded palm forest with many exotic plants and birds.

Day 4: from the Reserva Amazónica to Puerto Maldonado
• Breakfast.
• Boat trip on the «Madre de Dios» river to Puerto Maldonado.
• Transfer to the airport.
