Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica

«Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica» offers a variety of excursions on land and river to enjoy the magic of the jungle in a luxury ecotourism setting.

 

5 days / 4 nights – Start: daily

Day 1: Arrival in Puerto Maldonado and Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica

• Reception at Puerto Maldonado airport.

• Check-in at the «Butterfly House».

• Boat trip on the Madre de Dios river to the Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica lodge.

• Guided hike on the trails near the lodge.

• Night walk.

• Dinner.

• Overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Lake Sandoval, Canopy-Walkway

• 05:30 h breakfast.

• Excursion to lake Sandoval in Tambopata National Reserve.

• Return to the lodge and lunch.

• Canopy walkway excursion and sunset watching.

• Cocktail and presentation in the Eco-Media Center.

• Dinner.

• Overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Quebrada Gamitana, Granja Gamitana

• Excursion to the «Quebrada Gamitana» which is home to many animals such as pirañas, caimans, turtles and birds (about 45 minutes).

• Visit to «Granja Gamitana» to see how local farmers grow vegetables and fruits.

• Picnic.

• Free afternoon. Opportunity to relax in the ENA Spa.

• Overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Concepción, Ese'-Eja communitye

• Excursion to Concepción with more than 200 different species of plants.

• Boat trip to watch turtles, birds and otters.

• Lunch.

• Visit to a farm of an Ese'-Eja community.

• Overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Puerto Maldonado

• Breakfast.

• Return by boat to Puerto Maldonado.

• Transfer to the airport.

By leaving out the 4th day or the 3rd and 4th day, this program can also be shortened to 4 days / 3 nights or 3 days / 2 nights. – Start: daily.

Note: Changes may be made to improve the various activities, as well as for climatic or organizational reasons.
