Colca valley

• At 8:00 h pick up from the hotel.

• Departure to Chivay on the way to Yura.

• Chachani volcano.

• National Reserve «Salinas y Aguada Blanca».

• Pampa Cañahuas, natural habitat of vicuñas.

• Patapampa, known as «Mirador de los Andes» and at 4800 m the highest point of the journey. With good views of Misti, Hualca Hualca, Sabancaya, Ampato, Ubinas and Chachani volcanoes.

• At 12:45 arrival in Chivay.

• Lunch.

• Optional visit to the «La Calera» thermal baths.

• Dinner.

• Overnight stay. 

Day 2: Cruz del Cóndor

• Breakfast.

• «Cruz del Cóndor» viewpoint to see the condors flying over the deep Colca valley.

• On the way back to Chivay, visit to Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma and Yanque.

• Lunch.

• Return to Arequipa or continue to Puno.
