In the area of the Tambopata, Madre de Dios and Heath rivers are subtropical rainforest ecosystems of exceptional diversity and uniqueness. The Tambopata National Reserve and the Bahuaja-Sonene National Park serve to preserve flora and fauna and make them usable for science and tourism. This destination allows an ecological complement to the visit to Cusco, since there are relatively easy airplane connections from this city to Puerto Maldonado, from where you will take a boat trip to an unforgettable adventure in the exuberant rainforest of Tambopata.
